Production Assistant - Freelance
Are you interested in graphic design, video production and editing? Do you enjoy working with others to create compelling visual stories? We’re expanding our production team and looking for a skilled freelance production assistant to join our video production team.
Ideal candidate must be familiar with all aspects of video production and have basic proficiency with video cameras, photo editing and video editing software. Candidates must also be familiar with standard communications/collaboration platforms, have knowledge of effective file storage and sharing protocols as well as have ability to work within set deadlines. This is a paid freelance position and is available on an ‘as needed’ basis.
Job requirements include:
Clear knowledge of production project details and ability to prep all location, talent, requirements
Setting up and breaking down lights, camera and audio equipment on production sets/locations
Assist in all aspects of media acquisition
Backing up and processing all acquired media for edits
Intermediate knowledge of graphic design and editing interfaces
Knowledge of industry standard post production practices across platforms
